The first ranking is at 100, then each rank after that is 100 more until it gets to 1000 posts currently. As far as plugins - the forums module pretty much a stand alone, no plugins that I am aware of at this point.

Ok, that's cool. Some forums have a lot of cool plug ins, like giving you a title for your rank, letting other people rate your post, etc.

Hey, I also noticed that for me, IE7 is slower than snot opening Christ in Action, but firefox flys through it. I doubt it's the website's problem though, I've got other IE7 issues on my machine that other IE7 users don't have.

To be honest - our web hosting provider has it set so that the website recycles itself after a certain amount of time of inactivity. When this occurs, the website initially takes longer to load regardless to which browser you use - just depends which one you use to hit the site first. Granted, Firefox is faster than IE7 in lots of ways, and there are some rendering issues with FireFox3 in regards to the menu on the forum - but overall, things seem to be working pretty good.

The Forum comes with lots of stuff built in so I can check for some features if you are looking for anything specific.

Yah, the website is working great. I think I have something wrong with my install of IE7.

Um, probably the feature I think would be coolest right now is some way to rate other people's posts. So, if poster1 has a question, poster2 answers, poster1 can give poster2 a star or some way to show appreciation that way. Other forums keep track of these ratings and show the top posters. http://www.tek-tips.com/index.cfm does this if you need an example of what I'm talking about.

Bummer...IE7 has had some issues. Hopefully IE8 will correct them!

As far as ratings, there are ratings you can elect and it does an average based on the number of ratings from users. Now, it may not behave quite like you would expect, but it does work :) It is on the TOP LEFT side of the POST "Rate this Post", it is a dropdownlist box.
