I needed a name for gaming (both computer and Laser Quest) and tried a lot of different names. Most of the good ones were taken and so I finally decided to hit the Greek dictionary. At first I was trying to find something with a cool meaning, but most of them sounded pretty stupid. Then I went the other way and found Skia which means "shadow".
