Judging
Modified By snotmare on 10/25/2008 7:01:40 PM)

Greetings!

I thought I'd start some more biblical discussion here, hopefully we can get more threads going.

How would you respond to a Christian brother or sister who, when discussing a possible issue in their life, quotes Matthew 7:1 and says, "You have no right to judge me"?

He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; when he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive. - King Solomon

Morning Kyle!

Care to expound on that? :)

Re: Judging

Not particularly,  I think the real way I would confront someone who says something like that is to say.

"You're asking the impossible of me, and despite that very aparent fact, you don't really care whether I judge you or not, you just don't want me to say that I think your actions go against the moral law that God has instilled in all people."
